Mandate

• Educate the population of Dieppe and surrounding areas on the different facets of sexual and gender diversity.
• Create an inclusive environment where justice and equity are present in our schools, workplaces and community at large.
• Increase the visibility of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and celebrate the uniqueness of each person.
• Ensure that Francophones have access to resources and activities in their mother tongue.
• Enabling queer Acadian talent to flourish.

Action Plan

• To work in collaboration with community partners and businesses in the City of Dieppe so that all citizens can feel welcome and safe.
• Inform the general population of the serious reality of the community with a constant presence on traditional and social media.
• Organize educational activities in schools and businesses so that the fear of the unknown can be eliminated to increase the number of 2SLGBTQIA+ community allies.
• To be omnipresent in the community in order to facilitate accessibility to all forms of supports and needs essential for the mental and physical well-being of all.
• Organize regular events that will allow our queer talents to flourish.
